Not an inspiring menu but why does it need to be quality home cooking with generous portions and at a reasonable price . Access from the road is easy as parking also a good example of what is becoming an endangered species A good country pub.
Great place, especially so when the open fires are blazing. Food home cooked and plenty of it. Courteous, professional staff with a sense of humour ... All round winner

A small intimate pub that I very much enjoy. Locals are friendly and staff are amazing. Food is incredible. It is homemade and a defiante place you can define it as mums cooking. It isnt expensive and food is tasty. Big portion sizes. Just wish I could fit a pudding in!
