Its salient to point out at the start of this review, that this restaurant is not cheap. It is does however, have 2 Michelin stars and in essence you get what you pay for. This is a dining experience. From the welcome to the Hall restaurant, the bar, the canaps and onwards to the tasting menu, everything is measured, delightful and personal. A truly lovely evening, in a lovely setting with excellent food and friendly staff.
We had the tasting menu with matching wines. The menu was excellent, really interesting, and definitely an enjoyable experience. The service and sommelier were very professional, knowledgeable and relaxed.
Probably the best dining experience...Came out feeling very satisfied. I would highly recommend moor hall to anyone.
The food was very nice and the staff were lovely. Would I go again? Probably not. I just wasn't wowed by it in all honesty. A very nice experience but have had nicer meals
Quite unbelievably posh! Every detail has been checked. The setting and buildings are beautifully restored with quirky details everywhere. The food is amazing. You do pay for it but there is not much else of this quality in the region. Definitely a luxury destination.
