In a word. Outstanding. Best steak I've ever had. Good portions and they really take the dining experience seriously. Really nice staff. Glorious surroundings. Good work guys. Would love to go again. Keep it up.
We were really looking forward to our lunch at The Barn. What a disappointment. One vegetarian meal on the menu. Gnocchi. A completely tasteless dish. A starter of the smallest piece of pate and bread only brought on request. Main course of beef, very small portion with little vegetable. Potatoes an 'extra' and needed!! Decided against pudding or coffee. Never again!
A beautiful place with great food. We had the set 3 course lunch for 23. The quality was great, and the main course was lacking sides for some of us.
The barn at Moor Hall is amazing. GREAT food, incredible surroundings and fabulous staff. I have toured the veg gardens and glass houses and seen the attention to detail the produce is given which is reflected in the flavours on your plate.Well worth a visit.
Found this restaurant to be vastly over priced for very sparse portions. Was stunned at the sight of the tiny piece of dry hake I was served for my main course, served with 2 mussels and a morsel of mushroom. Descriptions on menu very misleading. Other dishes not much bigger. Final insult was to find 19.50 added to bill for service (which was nothing special). Better restaurants with better value can be found easily.
